The last few days have been mostly peaceful and quiet. -37° and snow meant that my parents, Kai, Evan, and I didn’t leave the house for pretty much two days straight. After two days relaxing, catching up on shows, doing nails, and rediscovering our familial enjoyment for Wii we were finally able to get out do our last Christmas shopping.

Christmas Eve was spent at my Grandparent’s house doing presents and eating Grandpa’s green chili, Christmas morning was spent waking up early and opening up gifts and stockings with immediate family, and Christmas Day was spent playing VR games and card games while a giant dinner was cooked.

We’re excited to spend a few more days resting and getting prepped for more travels from January on…
