The roads finally cleared and we made it to Casper on Thursday for one last visit with Beau before Evan and I head back to Florida. We dragged Kai around the museum with us before he and Beau joined us for dinner. It’s been interesting to watch my brother have his own long distance relationship journey and to see the ways it’s differed from mine but I’m grateful for the chance to support him with rides.

Friday we caught up on sleep after our late drive back to Casper and, as usual, a single Rotary phone call led to three more needing to be made. Fingers crossed all the calls will blossom into all the connections they’re supposed to.

Saturday we hung out with our friend Ang. We trying to spend as much time with her as we can before flying out again so getting to see her Sunday morning was also nice. At brunch this morning besides seeing Ang we had a small belated celebration of my Grandmother’s birthday. We ended the night with Evan doing my favor I’ve needed for awhile and helping me shave my hair back to a manageable length.

The next few days are going to be focused heavily on packing and goodbyes and I’m not sure which I’m less ready for.
