In my last post I said days had been stretching on, these last couple days whipped past and honestly I don’t know that much happened.

We spent a good chunk of Monday with Evan doing work while I do more job applications. We also began looking at public transit ticket prices for getting across the state. Most of Tuesday and today were spent doing laundry, packing, and cleaning up at our host’s home before we depart early tomorrow morning.

I also had the opportunity Tuesday to sit in on a meeting of the Miami Airport Rotary Club. An online meeting with people from various areas around the city who manage to get a lot done despite their group no longer meeting in person.

A highlight of the last few days has also been Evan and I’s long walks whether to the grocery store or just around the neighborhood, we’re enjoying soaking up the Miami weather. Today our walk took us to a neighborhood pond to watch the ducks and the sunset. It was a good reminder of how grateful I am to be traveling with someone who keeps me grounded enough to enjoy the little moments of this beautiful year.
