It’s crazy how little I have to write about and how few pictures we have for how busy we’ve been the last few days.

We’ve practically lived at the studio as we prepare for opening weekend. So far individually:

Evyn: designed and sent out invitations, maintained and managed everyone’s to do lists, planned catering, priced cake, worked on playlist, and started curating social media

Evan: co-painted two rooms, moved furniture, constructed dressing rack, constructed shelf, and sorted storage unit

Both: ran on various food fetch errands, helped furniture shop at multiple stores, and cleaned studio space

Outside of the studio, we’ve found a little time for fun and relaxation. We’ve been spending time with Evan’s dogs while I introduce him to movies I thought he would have seen already and gone for a sunset walk at the park.

We also both got to reconnect with people we haven’t seen in awhile. I went and got boba with an old friend while Evan and his mom went and spent some time with his grandfather.

The next few days will be just as busy at the studio and will hopefully also have some Rotary peppered in, starting with a RYLA DEI meeting tomorrow evening.
