Throughout the last few days we have begun making plans and doing research for next steps and are eager and excited for whatever that might be. We learn every day how necessary flexibility is so we aren’t putting too much stock into anything definitive yet but we are remaining open as we continue to follow our Coddiwomple. In the meantime we’ve been doing a bit of running around!

Monday morning started with some errands, dropping off mail for Evan’s family and getting the car checked out for Blacksburg next week. That evening we headed to a Rotary meeting with the Yorktown Rotary. After a lovely sunset walk and some confusion with location, we were actually able to find them and enjoy an excellent Italian dinner and many conversations about us and our journey when their speaker didn’t arrive.

Tuesday we celebrated Evan’s grandfather’s birthday with a late afternoon lunch and a large family and friends Zoom call as we drove back to the house.

Today, we began packing for our weekend Chincoteague trip. We also worked on refreshing our social media starting with creating a few new TikToks and gathering together some potential Instagram context. Take a look at our new TikToks @coddiwomple_travels
