This week started pretty normal. On Monday I attended a RYLA Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee meeting. I was also able to help do some work and make some plans to help with RYLA recruitment.

On Tuesday, we spent most of the day packing for our Wednesday flight to Colorado. We also had a movie night with Evan’s parents.

Today, honestly, everything has hit a very sudden downfall. We are currently flooded into the Fort Lauderdale airport. Our flight has been rescheduled for Friday and it’ll be a great birthday gift to me if we get out then. In the meantime, we are unsure when we’ll be able to leave the airport as all the roads in or out have been closed for a few hours now. I know I say it constantly but this year is about learning flexibility. Today has been a hard practice and I have absolutely not done the best I could have. I’m super grateful to Evan and my family and our friends for the contributions to my sanity throughout the day. I guess we’ll see what the next couple days bring.
